Chile Peppers from China

In China, the chile peppers had an enormous impact - as usual, in rather hidden ways...
Like a vitamin pill, it supplements a diet that is deficient in vitamins A and C.

In Sichuan, one of the blast furnaces of China both in terms of temperature and in terms of the "heat" of the food, the already popular Sichuan pepper was enthusiastically complemented with chiles. Hunan's cuisine uses chile peppers even more. But, in fact, there seems to be hardly any province where chile peppers would not be used.

The chile peppers even found their way into the world of Chinese good luck charms;
not surprisingly, considering how important the color red is in this context.

With the pepper growing and use in 2012, lots of things are planned. So, just a little insight now...
